Arrangement description

In the town of Złotokłos, in a house that reflects the personality of its residents, the time had come – after eighteen years of living there – to create a dream outdoor space. The terraces, long awaited, were finally to become an integral part of the home. The homeowners, featured in an episode of Remont u Ciebie hosted by Tomasz Pągowski, were seeking a space that would be functional, visually appealing, and inviting for spending time outdoors. The project included two terraces. The first one, set within a recess of the building’s structure, was sheltered from the wind but suffered from intense sunlight that made it difficult to use. To solve this, a sand-beige awning was installed. Underneath it, a dining area was arranged with light, woven-style furniture, soft cushions in earthy tones, and a practical table that can be configured as one large surface or two smaller ones depending on the occasion. The mood is set in the evenings by portable Picnic LED lamps, which gently illuminate the space, transforming it into a cosy retreat. The second terrace, located at the corner of the building and open to the elements, was also in need of a makeover. The existing pergola was refreshed by changing its colour from heavy anthracite to a subtle sandy hue that beautifully blends with the façade. In addition, a retractable fabric sunshade was installed, allowing the level of shade to be adjusted to the weather. A modern, comfortable lounge set, a circular hanging chair, and greenery in white pots created a perfect space for relaxation. The ambience is enhanced by Cumulus pendant lights and portable Stone lamps, whose organic shapes harmoniously connect light with nature. Their slightly textured surfaces softly diffuse the light, bringing warmth and comfort to the space both during the day and after dark. The transformation also features bold brick accents that break up the muted tones and bring character and energy to the arrangement. These transformed terraces have become a true extension of the home's interior – a place for gatherings, relaxation, and everyday life. Functional, beautiful, and welcoming for both the residents and their guests, this project proves that spring is the perfect time to redesign your terrace, when every plant, ray of light, and detail gains special meaning – turning daily routines into something truly exceptional.
