This living room in a Poznań tenement house had served its purpose for years – without the need for radical changes, but with a noticeable potential for a new atmosphere. Tomasz Pągowski therefore decided not to revolutionise it, but to give it a thoughtful makeover. The starting point was colour. Warm terracotta, verging on coral, had previously appeared in the owner's bedroom and it was this that inspired the designer to take further action. It worked immediately in the living room: it warmed up the interior, added energy and created a coherent basis for further design decisions. Wallpaper with a coral motif naturally complemented this palette, introducing a subtle texture and visual dynamics. Lighting played an important role in building the new character of the interior. The design of new electrical points allowed for precise planning of the layout of the lamps and assigned each zone its own atmosphere and function. The lounge area features a Poise floor lamp with a movable arm. Its greatest advantage is its freedom of adjustment - the ability to change the position and lower the lampshade as needed. Its distinctive form and scale make the lamp eye-catching from the moment you enter the room, becoming one of the strongest accents in the interior. The dining area is decoratively complemented by a composition of two wall lamps: Ring LED and Ring Timber LED. The whole is complemented by the mood lighting of the Amy Led lamps, which create a cosy atmosphere, and the cylindrical Satellite ceiling lamp. It completes the arrangement and ensures even lighting of the space. The furniture and accessories have been selected to blend in naturally with the background. The soft, rounded sofa invites you to relax, and the dark dining table contrasts with the colour of the walls. Even the tiled stove and radiator have been refreshed to fit in with the new aesthetic. In this metamorphosis, the living room has remained true to itself, but has gained a whole new quality. Warm, coherent and suited to everyday life. It is an interior that lives with light - functional, full of character and close to people. A space that shows that well-thought-out lighting can simply make life more beautiful.
