Arrangement description

From the hustle and bustle of the city to a serene haven, where trees sway outside the window and wild animals sometimes wander by. The protagonist of this episode of Remont u Ciebie traded a flat in a block of flats for a house reminiscent of a countryside manor – full of peace and harmony with nature. This time, the renovation focused on the bedroom – a challenging space with sloping ceilings, awkward proportions, and a lack of character. The designer decided to start with colour. Warm tones of clay and rust filled the interior, bringing a rustic charm. Walls, curtains and accessories came together in perfect harmony. Even the radiators were painted the same colour as the walls to blend seamlessly into the background. To make better use of the space, the bedroom was divided into two zones – a sleeping area and a relaxation area. In the sleeping zone stood a bed with a beige corduroy frame, flanked by black Satellite lamps. The same design line was continued on the ceiling lamp, serving as the main light source that ties the whole arrangement together. On the other side of the room – a relaxation area with wooden furniture, armchairs, a coffee table and a TV. Here, the designer used outdoor lamps – Liv LED and Amy LED – which, in this new context, took on a decorative, homely role, creating a unique atmosphere. Black details, paired with raw wood and soft fabrics, brought depth and coherence to the space. Following the principles of feng shui, a shelving unit was placed behind the bed to separate the sleeping zone from the room’s entrance. Since the room already had built-in wardrobe spaces, all it lacked was a chest of drawers for extra storage. One was added on the opposite side of the bed – in a warm terracotta shade that perfectly complements the clay-coloured walls. It’s the element that completed the arrangement. The result? From an unfinished room emerged a true “retreat cave” – a tranquil space where nature flows indoors and light creates an atmosphere of calm and relaxation.
