Arrangement description

Zalesie is a town where relaxation becomes a way of life. It was here that Tomasz Pągowski transformed the family's bedroom, creating a space perfectly suited to their needs – functional and comfortable. It was not an easy interior – the mezzanine and massive beams made the space feel heavy. The key to success was the colour scheme and well-designed lighting, which ‘lifted’ the bedroom and gave it a breath of fresh air. The starting point for the new arrangement was the existing bed. A palette of neutral, powdery tones was matched to it. Lighter colours were used on the lower parts of the walls, while deeper colours were used on the upper parts and beams. This visually enlarged and raised the interior. One of the strongest accents of this arrangement is the lighting. An additional effect of spaciousness was achieved by linear luminaires in a Profile perimeter rail system, located above the beams and directed upwards. Their light is reflected from the ceiling and gently spreads throughout the interior. This arrangement would not be complete without the characteristic MFP panels, which, combined with the beams, create additional shelves for decorative items. This material also appears in the form of rounded elements on the walls, creating a three-dimensional effect. Conical Zenith lamps in Umbra Blue hang by the bed – their muted blue colour contrasts effectively with the subtle, powdery background. The same light fixtures have also found their place above the desk where the homeowner works remotely. They are mounted on a mobile MFP board structure that allows the arm to rotate 100 degrees. This makes it easy to adjust the direction of the light to suit changing needs, regardless of the time of day or the intensity of natural light. Fabrics and accessories add softness to the interior. The melange curtains combine two powdery shades, and the pastel bedding harmoniously matches the pink and blue colours of the light fixtures. The warm wine-coloured bedside tables with golden details add character and break up the subdued palette. Old white furniture has undergone a metamorphosis, gaining a new lease of life thanks to being repainted in a powdery shade that blends seamlessly into the new design. Another new addition to the bedroom is a large cream pouffe near the bed, upholstered in soft bouclé fabric – exactly the same as that used on the movable armchair in the newly arranged reading corner. This cosy area also features a white Eye Super I floor lamp, which creates the perfect conditions for evening relaxation with a book. And how did the owners react when they entered their new bedroom? ‘Wow.’ ‘Now you can really see the space.’ ‘We don't want to leave this room.’ The light not only brightened up the interior – it gave it a new lease of life, creating an atmosphere and transforming everyday life into something special.
