Milan has once again become the capital of global design. The 63rd edition of Salone del Mobile. Milano, organised at the Fiera Milano Rho, attracted over 2,000 exhibitors and tens of thousands of visitors from all over the world. Among the key events of this edition was the long-awaited Euroluce - the International Lighting Exhibition.

Euroluce 2025 – light that tells a story
The Euroluce Biennale returned after a two-year break, presenting more than 300 brands from 25 countries – including Nowodvorski Lighting. For us, this event was more than just an opportunity to present new products. It became a space for conversations with architects, designers and business partners from all over the world and an opportunity to show how light can build atmosphere and create unique interiors.
All Euroluce exhibitions took on a theatrical character thanks to the arrangement of the entire space – the exhibitors‘ stands were the only sources of light, and the entire exhibition was set in a dark room, which emphasised the displays, creating an amazing, almost intimate atmosphere.
“Light for life. Light for spaces”
This year's edition was enriched for the first time by the Euroluce International Lighting Forum, dedicated to key aspects of lighting design. The debate took place in an extremely natural arrangement, reminiscent of a forest environment, which is conducive to reflection and authentic conversation. This was the setting for lectures by experts from various fields: designers, architects, artists, set designers, scientists, biologists, anthropologists, astronomers and psychologists. They had one thing in common: a vision of the future of light as intelligent, sustainable and full of emotion, strongly rooted in nature and human needs.![Light-for-life-Głowne-Nowodvorski-Lighting.jpg [111.74 KB]](https://nowodvorski.com/storage/image/core_files/2025/4/15/0145e0c8a46b86f44e7457915486ff96/jpg/nowodvorski/preview/Light-for-life-Głowne-Nowodvorski-Lighting.jpg)

Thought for Humans
This year's Salone del Mobile clearly showed that interior design is moving towards emotions and sensuality. Soft, organic forms, rounded furniture, natural materials and textiles that are pleasant to the touch, which together create cosy, soothing spaces. Alongside this subtlety, a certain rawness was also strongly felt – metal structures, inspirations from volcanic forms and expressive shapes. The aesthetics of imperfection also gained in importance – such as glass with natural air bubbles, which brings us closer to human authenticity – as well as local production and the pursuit of timelessness. The colour palette was dominated by earthy tones – muted beiges, browns and greens, but increasingly there were also bold accents such as wine red and dark shades of steel. The naturalness harmonised with the light – warm, diffused – not only bringing out the colour, but also shaping the atmosphere.
What else happened during Design Week?
Many cultural events took place during Milan Design Week, among which the voice of Polish design was strongly heard. One of them was the exhibition ‘Romantic Brutalism. A Journey into Polish Craft and Design’, curated by Federica Sala and designed by Zuza Paradowska from Paradowski Studio. The exhibition was built around key themes present in Polish design culture: references to folklore and a fascination with the local landscape. This exhibition definitely emphasised the growing strength of Polish design on the international arena.
Among the most interesting events of this year's edition, there was also the Alcova exhibition, celebrating the work of both established and emerging designers. The ninth edition took place in locations that are connected by history, nature and contemporary design: Villa Borsani, Villa Bagatti Valsecchi, the Pasino Greenhouses and the former SNIA factory. Each location featured installations and projects that reflected the character of the venue.

Nowodvorski Lighting - light that creates unique interiors
At our stand, we presented new collections and system lighting solutions that perfectly matched the atmosphere of this year's edition of the fair. Natural colours, soft fabrics and materials such as wood, which bring a sense of cosiness and harmony to interiors, dominated. Our designs – from minimalist forms, through lampshades, to rail systems – respond to the diverse needs of contemporary interiors, while maintaining our brand's mission of creating exceptional interiors with light.
Among the presented novelties, there are collections such as: Ceramic Led, Amarela, Santana, Tutoia, Cedro, Lago, Orto, Fourty, Simone, Ultra-Thin LVM, Easy Led, Zenith XS in the Cameleon system arrangement, Demi Led and Slim Led. The collections with wooden elements – Drops and Sunset – as well as the sleek, lacquered steel forms of the Pumpkin and Orto lamps, attracted particular interest. The Ceramic Led collection captivated with its rounded shapes and the combination of ceramic and frosted glass, which creates a diffused lighting effect.
See you in the future
Salone del Mobile 2025 has shown one thing: the future of design is a balance between technology, emotion and responsibility. For us, as a brand that creates light with people in mind, this is a clear direction in which we want to move forward. We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand and was part of this extraordinary journey.
See you at the next edition!
