Minimalism has been one of the most important trends in interior design for years. It is not only an aesthetic based on simplicity and moderation, but also the art of conscious choice, where every detail matters. Light plays a key role in interior design – it is not only a function, but also a discreet guide that creates atmosphere. It is what brings the interior to life and makes us feel comfortable in it – today, tomorrow and in a few years' time.
Minimalist lighting is an investment in timeless solutions – durable, aesthetic and always up to date. So how do you choose lamps that fit this philosophy and at the same time provide a subtle decorative accent?
The kitchen – light that organises the rhythm of the day

Before choosing lamps, it is worth asking yourself what the space and its users really need.
The kitchen is the heart of the home. This is where morning rituals, meal preparation and conversations at the table take place. Lighting in this space should support all these situations, combining functionality with mood.
Above the kitchen island, it is worth choosing forms that will evenly illuminate the worktop – such as Lineo Led lamps or those from the Fourty collection. For example, the Fourty III and Fourty V models combine delicate reflectors with a milky Snowball sphere or Zenith cones. They have a movable light source, allowing for precise illumination of the areas that need it most.
The dining table, on the other hand, is a space for meetings and shared meals. Lamps from the Simone collection are a good choice here – minimalist in form, yet available in fashionable shades such as terracotta, sage green and umbra blue. They will add a subtle decorative accent to the interior and go well with natural materials. When choosing a lamp for the table, it is very important to position it correctly so that the tabletop is evenly lit without casting shadows on people's faces or causing glare. The optimal height above the table is usually 70–80 cm.
The living room – a stage for light and mood
The living room is the most multifunctional space in the home – sometimes it becomes a relaxation area, other times a social hub. That is why it needs layered lighting: lighting that allows you to easily switch between bright general lighting and mood lighting.
Lamps from the Fourty or Mono collections are perfect for creating coherent lighting compositions. Both series offer a wide range of fixtures – spotlights, wall lamps, ceiling lamps, desk lamps and floor lamps – making it easy to illuminate every corner while maintaining a uniform, minimalist style.

Bedroom – intimacy in a minimalist style

Lighting in the bedroom should not dominate, but rather subtly accompany. Two aspects are particularly important here: comfort and mood.
The choice of wall lamps next to the bed should always be well thought out. Easy Led lamps are perfect for reading and, at the same time, thanks to the combination of two light sources, they create a cosy atmosphere. An additional advantage is the possibility of dividing the lighting sections: a switch allows you to turn on only one source, which provides greater flexibility in use. Zenith XS pendant lamps can be an alternative to them. Their simple conical shape beautifully diffuses light and adds lightness to the interior. In this case, it is recommended that their lower edge be located approx. 75–90 cm above the bedside table top.
The choice of main lighting depends largely on your preferred interior design style. In modern spaces, track systems are a great choice, such as the minimalist UT-LVM with a thin track or the Nano-LVM with minimalist fixtures. However, if you prefer a soft, cosy aesthetic, it is worth choosing fabric lamps, such as the Lago ceiling lamps in grey colours. Thanks to them, the bedroom will not lose its cosiness, and at the same time will be evenly lit.
Light that helps you live more beautifully
Minimalism in lighting does not mean giving up on emphasising the character of the interior – on the contrary, it allows you to bring out its harmony and functionality. Thanks to simple, well-thought-out forms, every room becomes tidy and every element becomes important.
When creating our collections, we believe that light is more than just a practical accessory. It is the key to setting the mood and creating beautiful interiors that are simply pleasant to live in – every day and for years to come.
