There are renovation decisions that we make in a matter of minutes. And there are those that we return to repeatedly, comparing, checking and wondering if it is definitely ‘the one’. Lighting should definitely belong to the latter category. Because it is good quality light that largely determines whether an interior will not only be beautiful, but above all comfortable in everyday use.

Quality under control

A good lamp is not only decorative. It is a tool that works together with the interior and its inhabitants. Different light is needed above the kitchen worktop, different light at the table, and yet another in the relaxation area. You can recognise the quality of lighting when everything is clearly visible and your eyes do not get tired even after many hours.

The key here are parameters that are often invisible to the naked eye. Flickering, too narrow a beam angle or unstable colour temperature are problems that can cause eye strain, headaches or loss of concentration over time. That is why the quality of light is not a detail – it is the foundation of everyday comfort.

At Nowodvorski Lighting, safety is an integral part of the design process. Each lamp undergoes a series of tests – both on individual components (insulation, cables, supporting elements) and on the finished product.

Our own photometric laboratory allows us to measure what really matters: luminous flux, colour temperature, colour rendering index (CRI), light distribution angle, parameter stability during operation and flicker level.

Light designed for comfort

Visual comfort is no accident – it is the result of thoughtful design solutions. In collections such as SantanaAmarelaTutoia, LagoCedro and Poise, the diffuser located at the bottom of the lampshade plays a key role.

It subtly masks the interior of the lamp, including the socket and bulb, making the lamp look aesthetically pleasing from every angle. At the same time, it diffuses the light, eliminating glare and creating a soft, pleasant glow.

High-quality fabrics, refined details and a consistent form make these collections perfect for both modern classic and minimalist interiors, where they become an elegant accent.

Design that lasts for years

In a world of changing trends, true value lies in a form that does not age. This is exactly what the Fourty collection, designed by our Design Lab and produced locally in Siemianowice Śląskie, is all about – based on precise details and timeless aesthetics.

The newest addition to this family – Fourty Round – introduces the softness of rounded forms to this style. Movable tubes with a diameter of only 4 cm make the lamps visually light, while allowing the light to be precisely directed where it is needed. The series includes pendant lamps and ceiling lamps, available in two sizes, which make it easy to match the lamp to both smaller interiors and spacious, open areas.

The colour palette is based on calm, neutral colours – black, white and beige – but the collection also features a unique accent: deep navy blue. This rich shade gives the fixtures a distinctive, designer character and allows the lamp to be treated as an element that builds the identity of the interior.

safe journey to a new interior

Before the lamp reaches its new home, it has to go through one more important stage – transport.

That is why every Nowodvorski Lighting fixture is packed in customised packaging that protects it from dents, scratches and abrasions. Instead of plastic fillers, we use paper and cardboard – effective even for more demanding, rounded shapes, such as those in the Circolo Led, Lineo LED and Pumpkin collections.

What lasts for a long time

True quality does not end with the first impression. It is not only about how it looks on the day of purchase, but above all, peace of mind for years to come. A good lamp is one you don't have to think about: it doesn't flicker, overheat or lose colour, and it works just as reliably today as it did after many years of use. This reliability is ensured by ‘invisible’ elements – solid components, high-quality cables and stable light parameters.

And this can be seen in the numbers. In 2024, the complaint rate at Nowodvorski Lighting was only 0.3%. Because design that works simply does not disappoint.
