Interiors are more than just wall colours and furniture arrangements they are primarily an experience. Sometimes it is difficult to pinpoint why we feel comfortable in one place and cold and alien in another. The answer often lies in the materials. Their texture, colour scheme and how they interact with light create an atmosphere that you can simply feel

Materials, accessories and details that matter

Imagine an interior where everything works together: a soft armchair that invites you to relax, linen curtains that gently filter the light, and the pleasant softness of a rug under your feet. It's not magic it's the effect of carefully selected materials. In such an interior, every detail matters. The rawness of a rough wooden tabletop, matte ceramics, the softness of a cushion, the irregularity of stone all these elements appeal to the senses, creating an atmosphere that can be felt and seen. The background is equally important walls finished with microcement, travertine texture or wallpaper become a stage on which light, furniture and accessories create a coherent image.

Light that creates atmosphere

It is not without reason that it is said that light can create the atmosphere of an interior – or destroy it if it is poorly chosen. It brings out colours, softens lines and emphasises textures. And when it subtly penetrates the fabric of lampshades, it becomes softer, more friendly and relaxing. This is why lamps with lampshades have been so popular for years. The diffused light shining through the lampshades highlights and emphasises the character of the fabrics, and in combination with other details, creates an interior that is not only cosy but also unique.

In collections such as Amarela and Santana, classic forms meet details in shades of gold and satin chocolate. The lamps are distinguished by elegant fabrics with a distinctive texture and thick weave. The Tutoia models are for those who love earthy tones and soft light – perfect for bedrooms or relaxation areas. They are available in shades of brown beige, and their lampshades gently flare outwards. The Cedro and Lago collections, on the other hand, come in shades of beige and grey. The pendant lamps from these collections come with decorative cable holders in the same colour as the cable – Ballerina (silk grey) and Acrobat (umbra grey), which allow for length adjustment. Both elements are also available for purchase as separate products.

A characteristic feature of these models is the diffuser located at the bottom of the lampshade, which subtly masks its interior, including the frame and bulb, maintaining the aesthetic appearance of the lamp from every angle. At the same time, it diffuses the light, providing pleasant lighting.

Each of these lamps has been designed with subtle elegance in mind: high-quality fabrics, distinctive diffusers and refined details make them ideal for modern classic arrangements, while in minimalist interiors they will attract attention as unique decorative accents.

How are they made?

At Nowodvorski Lighting, we understand the importance of details. That is why our lamps are made with attention to quality – from design to the finished product. The production process for models with lampshades begins with the precise cutting of fabric using a plotter. In the next stage, the wire that forms the structure of the lampshade is shaped. The ends of the frame are carefully welded, and the whole thing goes to a powder coating plant, where it gets the chosen colour and finish. This gives the fixture a durable, damage-resistant coating and keeps it looking great for years. The lampshades themselves are not only carefully glued, but also precisely stitched, which significantly increases their durability and resistance to everyday use.

An interior that evokes emotions

Materials are the language of interiors. Through textures, colours and light, they tell a story – about comfort, peace and energy. Their conscious combination allows you to create spaces that not only look good but are also pleasant to be in. If you are looking for a simple way to add atmosphere to your interior, start with light. A lamp with a fabric shade can change more than you think. It can determine whether a space becomes a stage for everyday life, where we feel comfortable and natural. Because beautiful interiors are not just about style – they are about the emotions that arise when we interact with a space.
