At Nowodvorski Lighting, we believe that light has the power to change everyday life. It’s not just about functionality – it’s a tool that enhances the way we live, builds atmosphere, and shapes exceptional interiors. Today, we want to take you behind the scenes of one of our collections – Fourty. Before it reaches homes, offices, or other spaces you’ve chosen, it goes through a long journey full of ideas, inspiration, and attention to detail. Ready for the journey?

Simplicity that surprises with its effect

Every project begins with a vision – and this was also the case with Fourty. Imagine a light that subtly blends into the space, yet draws attention with a precise, delicate beam of light. Our goal was to combine minimalist aesthetics with functionality, which we achieved with a sleek 4 cm diameter tube, paired with a GU10 R35 bulb.

We believe that a good design doesn’t exclude drawing from the experiences and achievements of others. While working on the Fourty collection, we were inspired by a technical solution used in insulin pens – specifically the “clicking” mechanism of the cap. Thanks to this idea, we developed click system, allowing for easy and quick bulb replacement in the fixture.

New models more possibilities

Initially focused on simple, spot pendant lights and wall lamps, the Fourty collection has recently expanded with new models. Ceiling lamps in various lengths have been added – ranging from compact 20 cm options to lamps over 2 meters long. There are also new compositions of minimalist tubes with elegant Zenith cones and Snowball globes, which create asymmetrical pendant lamps, perfect for hanging over a kitchen island.

The flexibility of the collection responds to the diverse needs of users. Depending on the model, lamps with multiple light points offer the ability to divide the lighting sections. Additionally, the tubes can be rotated in two planes – 180 and 90 degrees, allowing the light to be directed exactly where it’s most needed. When creating these solutions, we focused on spaces where functionality and precision matter – such as kitchens, islands, or other areas requiring well-planned lighting.

From idea to production how is Fourty made?

Behind every lamp in the Fourty collection are people, their experience, dedication, and passion. Everything starts at our factory in Siemianowice Śląskie. The production process begins with over 6-meter aluminium profiles, which are precisely cut to the correct lengths to form the base of the lamp. At the same time, 6-meter steel tubes are divided into smaller sections to form the shades. Every component of the lamp passes through the hands of our specialists. Using precise CNC machines, holes are made that allow the components to be connected. Then comes the finishing stage – the lamps are sent to the paint shop, where they receive their final appearance. For this collection, the available colours are classic white, black, and shades of silk gray and umbra gray.

Well-designed lighting is not only about aesthetics but also quality and durability. An important part of the production process is the assembly, during which Fourty is brought together into one complete unit. Finally, each lamp is carefully packed to ensure it arrives at its new home in perfect condition, ready to illuminate its interior.

More than just light

Fourty combines innovative approaches with a focus on quality and timeless aesthetics, creating lighting that harmoniously fits into modern interiors. It impresses with its subtle form and precise light.
